In the reported work, wool fabric was coated with epoxy resin by hand layup method to fabricate wool-epoxy composites. Hydrophobic nanosilica used as a filler improve their mechanical characteristics. The physico-mechanical properties of composites were analyzed using various analytical techniques. surface morphology examined aid Scanning Electron Microscope. biodegradability developed determined soil burial test. presence in composite confirmed Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). According findings, up 0.5% content significantly increases tensile and impact strength contact angle measurement showed slight enhancement hydrophobic due dispersion particles. slightly reduced water diffusivity wool-epoxy-nanosilica when compared SEM images detected inside After test, all weight reduction below 1.0%.
